The Great Resignation: To Quit or Not To Quit?
Dr Joy Isa is an experienced educator, management consultant, youth counsellor and speaker who passionately supports young people through varied challenges ranging from inclusion needs in mainstream schools, to educational and vocational issues, emotional issues, relational issues, family issues, sexual issues, and dealing with abuse. She has partnered with NGOs working in impoverished areas across Nigeria to provide counselling and training for young people, teachers, and school management.
She holds a Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from Buffalo State University and a Doctorate in Education, from Walden University, with specialisms in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. She is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants, and over the past two decades, she has contributed to developing education in Africa by facilitating professional development sessions on platforms including, Teach for Nigeria (TFN), the Association of International School Educators of Nigeria (AISEN), the Association of Private Educators in Nigeria (APEN), the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA), the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), and Corona College of Education (CCE). She also served briefly as President of Barwaaqo University, a women’s university in East Africa. She currently serves on the board of Pistis leadership and Life Institute (PLLI) and Osnan Academy.
Dr Isa has a strong passion for the Kingdom of God and has served in youth ministries and discipleship ministries. Her first book – Inspired to Chat – provides conversations that address some of the challenges faced by young people, from a bible-based perspective. She is married with two adult children.
