Funmilayo Arowoogun (FIAM, FIMC)

Funmilayo Arowoogun is the National President of NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women and the Lagos Coordinator for development Research and Projects Center (dRPC). She is a Director on the Board of Thrive Micro Finance Bank.

She is the Managing Director of Dew Farms and Integrated Services Ltd and the CEO of Haven Dew Properties and Investment Ltd.

She sits on the board of other organizations which include NECA, NGCL, Chremon Ltd where she brings over twenty years of experience of running profitable businesses to bear in contributing to the growth of these organizations.

Funmi holds a first degree in Computer Science/Physics and a master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics. She is a Goldman Sachs Scholar and an alumna of Enterprise Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos.

Funmi is a fellow of the Institutes of Management Consultant of Nigeria and Agribusiness Management of Nigeria.  She is a member of Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD).

Amongst others, she has Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Swedish Leadership Institute, Certificate in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from Harvard Business School, and Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from Enterprise Development Centre – Pan Atlantic University etc.

Funmilayo is a Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Women Scholar and an alumna of the Enterprise Development Centre, Lagos Business School.

She is a beneficiary of Cherie Blair’s Road to Women’s Business Growth programme at Enterprise Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University – Nigeria.

Funmi is a certified ISO 22000:2015 Food Safety Management System Lead Auditor and has Certifications in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management system (QMS), ISO 22000:2018 Certificate in Elements of Food Safety Management and is also a Certified Management Specialist from London Graduate School.

Funmilayo Arowoogun has been the recipient of various awards amongst which are:The Amazonian Icon of Female Entrepreneurial Courage for the year 2019 by Lagos City News, Meritorious Persons of Excellence Award from Rotary Club of Gowon Estate, 2020 International Women’s Day Award by Neca’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for her valuable support and immense contributions to the promotion of Gender Balance activities.
