Izin takes a vision and makes it reality through sound strategy development, spokesmanship/influencing and people skills. An expert at distilling business objectives, she develops actionable, insights-led strategies, activity/project plans and convenes a network of internal/external actors to achieve excellent outcomes. She is a saleswoman personality, who has brought her personal traits to bear in roles that combine external/people engagement opportunities with technical acumen/expertise.
In her most recent role, she lead the communications and advocacy project of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group’s Fiscal Policy Roundtable. The Pan-Nigerian project provided a platform to lead government and stakeholder engagement to drive fiscal reforms both at Federal and Sub-National levels. The project birthed strategic government partnerships, technical contributions to the 2020 Nigeria finance bill amongst other commendable results.
A marketing communications, and commercial leader, Izin brings a decade’s expertise in Advertising, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, and Consulting. Her previous professional opportunities include roles with British America Tobacco, Leo Burnett, amongst others.
Izin graduated in the top 10% of her class with a BSc. (Hons) degree in Economics, obtained the chartered marketer status from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and is an alumnus of the Lee Kwan Yew School of Public Policy.
Izin is passionate about building/enabling mission minded, transformational organizations and currently runs ADUN PR, an emerging public relations company, alongside Aretee, an African inspired fashion label.
