Tolu Michaels is a digital entrepreneur, online educator, and unapologetic people lover.

Within 4 years, she picked up new skills and built a profitable digital business with clients across 5 continents, trained over 20,000 entrepreneurs online, and launched a best-selling book.

Together with her team at SHOWUP HQ, she equips modern entrepreneurs with tools and training to build purposeful and profitable brands – so they can impact lives sustainably. Tolu considers herself a Nation builder and lays her building blocks by teaching and writing; a common thread that runs through her work in ministry, digital education, and social enterprise. Her book, “Show Up” helps you create a profitable brand doing work you love, with clients you like. She is the creator of She Shows Up podcast, a media platform inspiring woman to lead generously and live authentically.

Tolu is also the founder of Sisi Africa, a social enterprise that sponsors the education of African Girls through the sale of fashion items made by African women. A multifaceted woman, her work has been featured in the press and top-tier media outlets. She is a pioneer honouree of the prestigious Future-Forward Female Folio and in 2022, she was named one of the top 100 most inspiring women in Nigeria.

Tolu has a certification in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Covenant University. When she’s not teaching or writing, Tolu can be found at her favourite place – wherever she’s cuddling with her family.
