Sesan Sulaiman is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Tax practice groups. Sesan is a multi-sectorial expert with superior understanding of commercial and fiscal issues in Nigeria especially in the oil and gas industry. She has in-depth experience in direct and indirect taxation, international taxation, tax planning and structuring for oil and gas financings, upstream and midstream development transactions, free trade zone operations, tax incentives and concessions, market entry considerations, negotiations and settlements with tax authorities, international tax dispute resolution, international arbitration, and related compliance guidance.  

She also provides commercial legal services to high value clients on market entry issues and the viability of transactions as well as providing commercial structuring support to clients to take benefit of statutory tax concessions, tax incentives, and effective tax and investment treaties.  

Sesan holds an MSc in International Business from the University of Sheffield where she graduated with a Distinction. She is an honorary member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society, the exclusive business honor society. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria. As part of her experience, Sesan worked as an Associate at the London Offices of White & Case LLP.
