Titi is an Engineer by training, a Management Consultant by experience, and an Educator by passion. Her mission is to empower African youth with quality education through innovative technologies and community engagement. She is the Co-founder of 9ijakids, an all-female founder EdTech company. 9ijakids is helping to reduce poverty in Africa by providing access to affordable education via its gamified online learning platform for nursery, primary, and secondary school students across Africa. 9ijakids has partnerships with two of the largest Nigerian telecommunications operators, MTN and Glo, which allow children to access 9ijakids’ fun learning content using their airtime.

9ijakids has received several awards and recognitions, both internationally and locally, including the Global Education Startup Awards (GESAwards), Milken Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition, and Best Creative Children’s Brand at the 2021 ACE Awards. 9ijakids was also among the 12 selected EdTech companies for the 2023 MasterCard Foundation EdTech Fellowship.

Titi is one of the conveners of the annual STEAM Fun Fest, Africa’s largest STEAM gathering, with over 4,500 attendees. The event aims to spark a love for STEAM in children aged 7-15 years through career talks, experiential STEAM activities, and games. This event has been held in Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Zambia, Gambia, and Sierra Leone.

Titi has been recognized both internationally and locally. She is a 2024 Cartier Women Initiative Fellow, and was listed among the Leading Ladies Africa 100 inspiring women in 2020 and 2022, as well as a PowerWoman100 in 2021. She was also named one of the top 5 Nigerian Education Outliers of 2020 by Edusko, one of Africa’s largest online educational platforms.

Titi holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and has over 20 years of experience. She rose to the position of Senior Manager at KPMG before leaving to start her entrepreneurial journey. Titi has been a volunteer teacher for over 15 years and sits on the board of the Bethesda Child Support Agency, an NGO advocating for free education in underserved communities in sub-Saharan Africa.

She is an alumnus of the Founder Institute, the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator based in Silicon Valley, and of the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC), a high-touch leadership and business management capacity-building program operated through the US Center for Global Enterprise (CGE).
