Akomu Omoye Okoh is an accomplished finance and accounting professional with nearly two decades of diverse experience spanning audit, compliance, strategy, financial management, treasury, and digital transformation. She currently serves as a Business Performance Advisor at Chevron Nigeria Limited, where she manages a multibillion-dollar JV budget and partners with leaders to drive enterprise-wide performance, enable operational efficiency, and translate strategy into measurable business results.
Omoye began her career at PwC as an Associate, moved to Zenith Bank as Treasury Officer, and joined Chevron in 2011. Over the years, she has held progressive leadership roles in Nigeria and the United States. She has also championed finance capability development and digital transformation initiatives, significantly enhancing efficiency and governance.
She holds a B.Sc. in Accounting (Honors) from the University of Benin and an MBA (Distinction) from the University of Bradford School of Management in the UK. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (CSCA), and a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI).
A respected global voice in her profession, Omoye currently serves on the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Global Board of Directors and is the Immediate Past Chair of the ICMA Board of Regents and. She also lends her leadership to professional and faith-based organizations, including Serra International.
Passionate about mentorship, Omoye actively guides young professionals—especially women—towards intentional, purpose-driven careers. Beyond work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new destinations, and is a proud mother to her son, Asher.
