Rabi Isma is a seasoned board director and chair with extensive leadership experience across corporate, development, and public sectors.
She currently chairs the Board of ActionAid Nigeria and serves on the Boards of Stanbic IBTC Bank and the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria. She also sits on the National Executive Council of the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF), and the Editorial Advisory Board of BusinessDay Media.
Her earlier career spanned banking, telecoms, and international development, with senior roles at Guaranty Trust Bank, the British Council, and Etisalat Nigeria and Sri Lanka. She also served as Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kano State.
A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK) and member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (Nigeria), Rabi brings expertise in, and advocates for, leadership development, gender inclusion, and ESG. She has a solid understanding of finance and a deep interest in how technological advancements are reshaping industries and societies.
She is a Rotary Peace Fellow (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand) and an alumna of Obafemi Awolowo University (Ife), Ahmadu Bello University (Zaria), University of Wales, University of Birmingham, and Harvard Business School.
