Affiong Williams is the CEO/Founder of ReelFruit, the largest fruit processing, packaging and distribution company in Nigeria. The company was founded in 2012 and has distributed a range of dried fruits and snacks through a variety of channels across 1000 stores in about 20 states, airlines, schools, and hotels locally, while also retailing internationally in the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, South Africa, Switzerland, Belgium, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
She obtained a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration from Wits Business School, Johannesburg, South Africa. Prior to founding ReelFruit, she worked 4 years for Endeavor Global, a global non-profit that catalyzes economic development by supporting small to medium enterprises in developing markets. She also completed the Stanford Seed in Emerging Economies program in 2018 and is an alumnus of the MIT Legatum Fellowship.
She is passionate about unearthing the job and wealth-creation potential of agriculture for Nigeria’s youth and farmers. Affiong is an avid runner and has completed over 20 marathons while raising funds for charity in the process.
