Captain. Tolu Ita

Capt. Tolulope Ita is a Pilot with years of experience in the aviation industry. She joined Aero Contractors Nigeria Ltd. after graduating from the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria and served in various positions within the company including Flight Operations Auditor, Fleet Captain on the Dash 8 Q400 and the Manager, Training and Standards. She was the Managing Director of Spring Airways Nig Ltd, a start-up airline. She was also a Principal/Flight Operations Inspector with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority and the adviser to the Nigerian Representative on the ICAO Flight Operations Panel.

She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, an Aviation Diploma from the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, a Post Graduate Diploma from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. In addition she holds an Air Transport Pilot License from All ATPS Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Auditor Training from BSI, UK, a Flight Operations Management Diploma from IATA, Switzerland and Executive MBA from Lagos Business School.

She also attended an International Module Program with IESE, Madrid, Spain and ICAO Flight Operations Training. She has also attended other executive certificate training including Women on Boards Programme with WIMBiz, Contract Law with HarvardX, Aviation Conflict Resolution with the NCAA Legal Team and several other training courses.

She is also diversified into the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry where she is currently the Country Manager for IBC and Buhler partnership in Nigeria.

She is currently a Board member of a School and Board Advisor to a Startup Airline.

She is a Nigerian, married with two kids and lives in Lagos.
