Ifesinachi Okpagu

Ifesinachi Okpagu is a seasoned senior marketing executive with an extensive background of 13 years dedicated to enhancing the presence and influence of pan-African organisations.

As the Chief Marketing Officer of Heirs Insurance Group, the insurance subsidiary of the pan-African investment company, Heirs Holdings, she holds responsibility for the brand positioning, marketing strategy, and customer experience of the companies within the Group – Heirs General Insurance, Heirs Life Assurance and Heirs Insurance Brokers.

Ifesinachi’s career experience spans various sectors: information technology, financial services, hospitality, media and television production, philanthropy, and insurance. Beyond her professional role, Ifesinachi is actively involved in mentoring women, as well as sharing knowledge with the next generation of leaders. She mentors women through GapX, a social enterprise, empowering women with the tools, network, and knowledge to become leaders, while driving gender inclusion across corporate Africa. She served as a facilitator at the Leap Africa Young Women Leaders Program and a mentor at the WIMBIZ Mentorship Programme.

In addition, Ifesinachi is an active speaker and writer, contributing to topics on leveraging innovation in emerging markets, personal leadership, the intersection of marketing and technology, and gender inclusion.

She has been listed as top 100 Women of Excellence by The Peak Performing Woman Award, top 50 African corporate women by Leading Ladies Africa, and top 100 Career Women by 9to5Chick.

She currently serves on the Advisory Board of a startup non-profit organisation, Project Giiv, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree at ISC Paris Business School.
