Ruqayya Tofa-Basheer

Ruqayya Tofa-Basheer is an Entrepreneur, Sustainability Expert, and Leadership Consultant with experience spanning architecture, design, and the beauty industry. She is the Founder & CEO of Raw Beauty Africa, a pioneering clean beauty brand harnessing African botanicals and advanced science, and the Founder of Raw Beauty Bar, a holistic wellness spa redefining self-care in Nigeria and beyond. 

She also founded the Ummi Women Empowerment Foundation, a platform that empowers Arewa women leaders through mentorship, training, and community building. A graduate of London Metropolitan University and alumna of Harvard University’s Executive Education in Leadership & Management, Ruqayya merges strategy, sustainability, and women’s empowerment to build thriving ecosystems that drive impact, economic growth, and cultural pride across Africa.
