Taiwo Oyedele

Taiwo Oyedele is a leading voice and reform advocate on fiscal policy, public finance, and economic governance. He currently serves as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms set up by Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with a broad mandate to drive reforms in fiscal governance, revenue transformation, and economic growth facilitation.

A former Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PwC, Mr. Oyedele has over two decades of leadership experience working with governments, multilateral institutions, and global corporations across Africa and beyond. His expertise spans tax policy, leadership development, business strategy, public finance, and institutional reform.

An author, economist and accountant by training, Mr. Oyedele is a Professor of Practice at Babcock University, adjunct faculty at the University of Lagos and a guest lecturer at Lagos Business School. He is a frequent keynote speaker at local and international conferences. He recently contributed to the development of the African Domestic Resource Mobilisation Strategy under the African Union Agenda 2063 – “The Africa We Want”. Previously he was a contributor to the annual ‘doing business’ report of the World Bank and ease of paying taxes across 180 economies worldwide.

Mr. Oyedele is a global LinkedIn Top Voice, a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, and a foremost executive coach and policy strategist. He has held numerous national and global leadership roles, including his membership of the Governing Council of ACCA Global, PwC Global Leadership Development Board, Faculty Chair of the Fiscal Policy Board at ICAN, and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He also served as Chairman of the West Africa Debt Management Roundtable and Thematic Lead on Fiscal Policy for the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). He is a Fellow of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative and a strong voice for good governance, transparency, and smart policies for inclusive and sustainable development.

Mr. Oyedele is the Founder and President of Impact Africa Foundation, a non-profit organisation focused on social impact and youth empowerment. He is an alumnus of the London School of Economics, Yale University, and Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education.
