Kike Fischer

She currently serves as Executive Director, Retail & Partnerships at Leadway Assurance, where she leads the growth and transformation of the organisation’s retail business across Agency, Bancassurance, Partnerships, Digital Business and High-Net-Worth segments.

Kike previously served as Group Chief Risk Officer and Group Head of Sustainability at Leadway, providing enterprise-wide leadership across risk, governance and sustainability. Before joining Leadway, she was a Senior Manager in Financial Services Risk Management at EY West Africa and previously

worked with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Her career combines commercial leadership, strategic execution and strong governance expertise, with experience spanning distribution transformation, strategic partnerships, customer proposition development, digitalisation, risk management and sustainable business growth.

Kike is passionate about making insurance more relevant and accessible by embedding it into customers’ everyday lives and creating propositions that respond to evolving customer needs.

In addition to her executive role, Kike serves as a Non-Executive Director of Leadway Health HMO, an Independent Non-Executive Director at Vaste, and a Non-Executive Director of M&E Kaiser Limited.

She holds a degree in Business Economics and Finance from the University of Surrey. She brings to her executive and board roles a distinctive combination of commercial acumen, risk expertise, governance experience and a strong understanding of the African financial services landscape.

Outside work, Kike is a mother, wife and lifelong learner who enjoys travelling, reading, fashion and

discovering new experiences. She values family, meaningful relationships and living a full and purposeful life.
