He has participated in high-level dialogues in fields including the banking, health, and energy sectors, and his initiatives have contributed to nurture investor relations and supply chain partnerships between the U.S. and Africa.

 

A major component of Ekenem’s career is social impact. More than 500 youths have benefited from his volunteer work with the Lux Terra Leadership Foundation and ACIOE Foundation through leadership development. He also initiated a program to teach ICT and literacy to 110,000 young Nigerian women.

 

Ekenem holds degrees in Engineering Management and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, respectively. Executive education from Harvard and the Wharton School of Business further expands his expertise.

 

Ekenem is a Senior Advisor with the Albright Stonebridge Group and a Director with the Corporate Council on Africa in addition to his primary duties. He is passionate about golf, literature, and travel. In 2011, the Nigerian Economic Summit Group recognized him as an emerging leader.
