Bennedikter China Molokwu is a Corporate Governance and Strategy professional with over three decades of experience serving on more than 15 Boards, Nationally and Internationally. She has built a career at the intersection of Law, Governance, Risk Management, and Strategy Execution. She is also a Certified Construction Industry Arbitrator. 

She has made a transformative impact as Chair of the Board Governance Committees at Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, MainOne Nigeria Limited, Premium Pension Limited, and Falcon Corporation Limited, and serves as a Non-Executive Director at Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc. Her Board experience spans Financial Services (FCMB, Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited, CrusaderSterling and Premium Pension Limited) as well as Energy and Technology, with Leadership roles within the MainOne and FASYL Limited. 

In public service, she has served on the Boards of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) and the Upper Niger River Basin Authority, and chaired the Interim Management Committee of Triumph Bank Plc (appointed by the Central Bank). She was also a member of the Advisory Board for the demutualization of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. She also contributed to National Initiatives and Governance Codes such as Vision 20:2020, the Petroleum Revenue Special Task Force, the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (2013, 2018) and the Securities and Exchange Commission. She served as the second female and eighth President of the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD) Nigeria, and established the CIoD Centre for Corporate Governance.   

She actively supports women’s empowerment through training and business development. She is a recipient of the NBA Women’s Forum Trailblazer Award and is listed in the International Who Is Who.
