Nkemdilim Uwaje Begho is an accomplished Non-Executive Director, Technology & Innovation Committee Chair, and ESG advocate with nearly two decades of cross-sector experience. She serves on private, public, not-for-profit, and listed boards, providing strategic oversight across technology, audit, legal, M&E, remuneration, and governance committees.

Her expertise sits at the intersection of digital transformation, AI adoption, brand strategy, and sustainability integration. She is recognised for her ability to identify and mitigate risks across technology, brand, and ESG, while guiding boards toward forward-looking strategies that embed cybersecurity, data privacy, AI governance, and ESG compliance into core operations.

As CEO of Futuresoft and Co-Founder of AI CoLab Africa, she has led both companies’ evolution into leading providers of AI-driven digital transformation, governance, and brand and sustainability marketing solutions, supporting organisations in leveraging technology for growth, governance excellence, and competitive advantage.

She is also a founding partner at ESG in Action Africa, where she advises on AI-enabled ESG reporting, sustainability marketing, and data-driven impact measurement, helping boards align commercial goals with regulatory expectations and stakeholder priorities.

Beyond her board and executive roles, Nkemdilim is deeply involved in strengthening Africa’s digital and innovation ecosystem through policy work, mentorship, talent development, and early-stage investment.
