Having served as the Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa at YouTube, Addy orchestrated the platform’s overarching strategy for African music and culture. Prior to this, she pioneered YouTube’s regional creator footprint as the Head of Creator Partnerships for Sub-Saharan Africa. With over 15 years of international experience spanning North America, Europe, and Africa, Addy operates masterfully at the intersection of strategy, marketing, and cross-border partnerships. A fierce champion of the creator economy, Addy has architected some of the continent’s most culturally definitive digital milestones. Her track record includes executive producing the historic Africa Day Concerts and launching global livestreams for industry titans like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Rema, and Ayra Starr. Driven by a mission to build sustainable economic infrastructure for talent, she launched the YouTube Creator Bootcamp to scale emerging digital storytellers and founded Pamoja—a global initiative celebrating African music and culture that famously kicked off at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
